Company history

The Mehl company has produced patented frame heaters (DBP 1952) for opticians and hearing aid audiologists since 1952.

In 1982, Mehl acquired Deyle, a manufacturer of electro-technical products to integrate the production of the frame heaters at Deyle.

In 2002, Deyle acquired Panora-Optik, a dealer that sold our frame heaters under the PASSAT brand.

PASSAT frame heaters have been setting the standards since then (European patent: PCT/EP 2016).
